Trauma-Informed Therapy, Clinical Supervision, and Consulting
Serving Adults in New York and Florida.
Ways I Offer Support: Therapy, Supervision, & Consulting
My work is grounded in connection, compassion, and curiosity. I support adults, clinicians, and organizations in understanding how developmental trauma, attachment patterns, and chronic stress shape emotional life, relationships, and systems.
Whether you’re seeking individual therapy for adults in New York and Florida, clinical supervision, or organizational consulting, this work focuses on bringing awareness to patterns that may limit connection, vitality, or ease — and supporting movement toward greater integration, clarity, and authentic engagement.

Individual Therapy - Relational & Trauma-Informed (NARM)
Many of the adults I work with are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware — and still feel stuck. You may struggle with anxiety, depression, or relational patterns that don’t seem to shift, or carry a persistent sense that something feels “off” despite insight and effort. Often, these experiences are rooted in complex or developmental trauma, attachment wounds, or chronic stress that shaped how your nervous system learned to adapt in order to cope and survive.
Many people I work with have tried therapy before and gained insight, yet still find themselves emotionally guarded, reactive, or disconnected in ways that don’t fully resolve. Others learned early on to manage, stay self-reliant, or minimize their needs — adaptations that once made sense and helped them get through, but now limit closeness, ease, or a sense of aliveness. Our work focuses on understanding and gently shifting these patterns rather than pushing past them.
I offer a supportive, relational, and trauma-informed approach to therapy that helps people understand how thoughts, emotions, and physiological responses shape daily life and relationships. Together, we slow things down and pay close attention to patterns that may feel automatic or out of choice — ways of relating, coping, or managing that once supported survival, but now interfere with presence, connection, or ease.
My work is grounded in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), a strengths-based approach to complex trauma that emphasizes curiosity, agency, and resilience. Rather than asking why something is “wrong,” we explore how earlier adaptations are still operating in the present — and how they might be gently updated to support greater connection, self-trust, and aliveness.
Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, our work explores how these patterns developed in response to early relationships, environments, and unmet developmental needs. When core needs for safety, connection, or attunement were disrupted, the nervous system adapted in intelligent ways to cope and survive. Over time, these survival strategies may show up as anxiety, emotional numbness, shame, relational distance, or a persistent sense of disconnection.
Therapy with me supports a gradual shift from survival toward greater capacity for presence and choice. We stay grounded in what is happening now, while gently acknowledging how the past continues to influence the present. Change is allowed to emerge at a pace that feels safe, sustainable, and respectful of your nervous system and experience.
In our work, I focus on:
-
Developing awareness of bodily sensations, emotions, and internal states
-
Exploring self-image and identity to support a more authentic sense of self
-
Strengthening internal connection and present-moment capacity as foundations for healing and growth
Over time, many clients describe feeling more grounded, less reactive, and more connected to themselves and others.
At the core of my work is the belief that connection, wholeness, and the capacity to grow are inherent. Therapy is not about becoming someone new, but about reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have been constrained by earlier experiences.
Who This Work Tends To Support Best
I tend to work best with adults who are open to slowing down and bringing deeper curiosity to their inner experience and relational patterns. Many of my clients are capable and generally well-functioning in their lives, yet feel emotionally stuck, relationally guarded, or disconnected in ways that are difficult to name.
This work may be a good fit if you’re interested in understanding how early experiences, attachment patterns, and nervous system adaptations continue to shape your emotional life and relationships — and if you’re open to a process that values presence, curiosity, and depth over quick fixes.
If you’re seeking a highly structured or symptom-focused approach, this work may not be the right match. I’m always happy to help you think through other options or referrals if that would feel more supportive.
Practical details are outlined below for those considering next steps.
Services & Rates
I currently offer individual therapy sessions via telehealth for adults located in New York and Florida.
I accept several commercial insurance plans in both states. If I am not in-network with your plan, I can provide a superbill to support out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement rates vary by plan, so I encourage you to check directly with your insurance provider regarding your specific benefits.
My standard session fee is $175 per 55–60 minute session. A limited number of sliding-scale openings may be available depending on financial circumstances.
I ask for 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. When possible, I make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes within that window, understanding that life can be unpredictable.
If you have questions about fees, insurance, or scheduling, we can address these during an initial consultation.
Depth-Oriented Clinical Supervision & Consultation
Many of the clinicians I work with are thoughtful, skilled, and deeply committed to their clients — and still find themselves feeling stuck, uncertain, or activated in particular cases. You may notice recurring moments of self-doubt, emotional intensity, withdrawal, or over-responsibility in the therapy room, or feel unsure how to work with relational impasses that don’t resolve through technique or insight alone.
Often, these experiences are not a reflection of clinical inadequacy, but of how the clinician’s own nervous system and relational history are being engaged in the work. Many therapists have learned to prioritize competence, attunement to others, or getting it “right,” sometimes at the expense of their own internal experience. In supervision, this can show up as a focus on what to do next with the client, rather than curiosity about what is happening within the clinician in the moment.
My approach to supervision is grounded in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), and informed by interpersonal neurobiology and polyvagal theory. Rather than problem-solving or pathologizing countertransference, we explore both “big C” and “little c” countertransference as meaningful sources of information about relational dynamics, nervous system states, and developmental patterns. Supervision becomes a space to slow down, track internal responses, and build greater capacity for presence, choice, and confidence in the therapeutic relationship. Over time, this work supports clinicians in feeling more grounded, flexible, and resourced — not by doing more to their clients, but by relating differently to themselves within the work.
Clinical consultations are 60 minutes and $175.
Relational Systems Consulting for Organizations & Teams
Many organizations and teams seek consultation when communication feels strained, collaboration has broken down, or trust has eroded in ways that are difficult to address through surface-level solutions. You may notice recurring conflicts, burnout, misalignment between stated values and daily practice, or a sense that despite good intentions, something in the system isn’t working as it should.
Often, these challenges persist even after trainings, policy changes, or strategic planning efforts. Teams may be highly skilled and well-resourced, yet continue to feel reactive, disconnected, or stuck in familiar patterns. These dynamics are rarely about individual failure; more often, they reflect unexamined relational patterns, stress responses, and adaptive strategies that have developed within the system over time.
My consulting work supports organizations in understanding how relational dynamics, nervous system responses, and attachment patterns influence culture, leadership, and day-to-day functioning. Drawing from relational systems theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and trauma-informed principles, I help teams slow down, build shared awareness, and address the underlying dynamics that limit connection and effectiveness. This approach supports greater clarity, resilience, and authentic engagement, allowing organizations to move beyond symptom management toward more sustainable and humane ways of working together.
This work is well-suited for organizations and teams that value reflection, curiosity, and long-term effectiveness, and who are open to engaging complexity rather than seeking quick fixes.
If you’re curious whether this approach may be supportive for your organization or team, I invite you to reach out to discuss your goals and context. Fees and engagement structure vary depending on scope and needs, and can be explored during an initial conversation.
